A very bright future. getfititasca.org is the one-stop website for active living and healthy eating in Itasca County. Visit often to learn more about healthy living options in our area. Watch for active living maps and trailhead kiosks within the city of Grand Rapids and expect healthier eating choices at concession stands, vending machines and community events.
Get Fit Itasca and its projects are open to all community members. We welcome all participants – from making your own personal commitment to walk a few extra steps or eat one more vegetable each day, to joining the teams and committees that move community projects forward – so that Get Fit Itasca can “engage all people in the Itasca Area to make healthy choices and participate in activities that improve their quality of life.” For more information, contact Get Fit’s community health coordinator Meghan Bown at 327-1161.
